Private & Confidential — Jan 2026
After The Sun is a music-first rock musical built around a real working band and a contemporary theatrical world. The project is developed like a band first and a theatre production second — building momentum with live audiences before scaling into larger commercial runs.
This investment supports the first two phases of the project: creating the band, proving the work in front of paying audiences, and establishing the show in both a major regional city and London.
This phase builds the sound, audience, press narrative, and production blueprint — and tests the show in front of real audiences.
By this stage the project arrives in London as a confident, audience-ready production, with future scale decisions informed by real performance data.
The production is seeking £210,000 in production finance to cash-flow Phases 1 and 2 of After The Sun.
This funding supports the creation of the band, regional and London performances, and the delivery of a fully realised, publicly proven production.
In parallel, we are developing the show’s digital clone and LED performance system — a core creative element of the work. This phase is budgeted at up to £80,000 and is intended to be delivered either through additional finance or via a strategic digital content partner.
The digital system is designed as a first-phase creative platform: developed initially for studio-scale and Off-West-End performances, then expanded and evolved as the show scales into larger venues, extended runs, and touring.
For digital partners, this collaboration offers a live R&D environment, public showcase opportunities, and the chance to grow a proprietary visual language alongside a new commercial theatrical property.
Together, these elements create durable creative and technical assets that continue to generate value well beyond the initial runs.
Investor returns are structured on a priority basis to protect early capital. In principle:
Investor recoupment is supported by multiple revenue streams as they arise during and after Phases 1 and 2, including:
Any timing differences or shortfalls in early-stage recoupment are planned to roll forward into the next phase of commercial scaling, and are recovered from future project revenues.
By the end of Phases 1 and 2, the investor is not backing an idea, but a fully realised, publicly proven asset: a working band and a produced show with demonstrable audience demand.
Subsequent phases focus on scaling efficiently through repeat runs, touring, and other theatrical exploitation routes, applying revenues first to any outstanding investor balances carried forward, followed by agreed premium and participation before wider profit sharing.
